BIFC2 is a major new mixed-use development in Busan’s Munhyeon Financial District that opened in January 2026. Floors 1–3 make up the retail zone called “Square Garden.” Jongno Book Store occupies the entire 3rd floor — officially the Jongno Book Store BIFC2 Square Garden branch.
A Bookshop That Doesn’t Look Like a Bookshop
The space is built around a double-height atrium with curved wooden shelving and greenery throughout. Social media reactions have been full of “wait — this is a bookshop?” — and it’s easy to see why. It’s a genuinely photogenic space.
Beyond books, the store carries stationery and lifestyle goods — the brand describes it as a “cultural lifestyle complex” (복합문화공간). Reviews so far mention how quiet and calming the space feels. A good spot for browsing on a slow afternoon, or as a detour from a Seomyeon shopping day.
