Today we’re introducing “Jumunjin Makguksu” (주문진 막국수), a locally beloved buckwheat noodle joint in the Sajik (사직) area of Busan — just a short walk from Asiad Main Stadium, the BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG venue. Makguksu (막국수) is a chilled buckwheat noodle dish that’s cheap, refreshing, and a perfect hot-weather pick.

The shop is within walking distance of Sajik Station (사직역) on Metro Line 3 — and only minutes from Asiad Main Stadium, making it an ideal pre- or post-concert stop. It’s packed with locals, which says it all. Cheap, refreshing, and seriously good.

We ordered the “Makguksu” and the “Suyuk (small).”

First, the banchan (side dishes).

The kimchi arrived stacked in neat layers — properly fermented and seriously delicious.

And here’s the Makguksu. First impression — the portion is huge!

Use the scissors at your table to cut the noodles into bite-size lengths before eating — that’s the Busan way. The texture and seasoning aren’t quite like anything else; it’s its own thing, and it’s really tasty.

Next up, the Suyuk. It uses Hanwoo (Korean-bred beef).

Dip it in sesame oil and wrap it with kimchi — perfection. Juicy, tender, and absolutely delicious.
If you’re in the Sajik area — whether heading to Asiad Stadium for the concert or just exploring — definitely swing by Jumunjin Makguksu. Cheap, refreshing, and seriously satisfying chilled buckwheat noodles. Highly recommended!
